We collect only the information needed to validate certificate eligibility, create a payment order, prevent abuse, provide support, and issue or verify a digital certificate. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Information we collect
- Information you submit: full name, registered email address, phone number, and optional organisation and designation.
- Course and payment records: course identifier, certificate fee, payment-provider order/payment identifiers and payment-event history, payment status, and timestamps.
- Minimal security data: an irreversible keyed hash of the connection IP, essential signed cookies, request timing, and anti-abuse signals.
- Support information: information you voluntarily send by email or WhatsApp.
Turnip does not receive or store your card number, bank account credentials, UPI PIN, CVV, or OTP. Razorpay or Cashfree processes those payment details, depending on your checkout.
How we use information
- To show the correct course, amount, and certificate preview.
- To create, verify, and reconcile payment orders.
- To check the registered email and course-completion requirements.
- To generate, deliver, support, and verify eligible certificates.
- To prevent duplicate submissions, fraud, automated abuse, and security incidents.
- To meet accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, and other legal obligations.
Cookies and anti-abuse controls
We use essential signed cookies for request security, CSRF protection, and repeated-visit detection. We do not use advertising cookies. Rate limits, a hidden bot field, timing checks, and—when configured—a CAPTCHA may be used to protect the service.
Service providers
Information is processed only as needed by providers supporting this service, including Razorpay and Cashfree for payments, Google Cloud for hosting and databases, and email/certificate delivery providers used by Turnip. These providers operate under their own privacy terms. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or to protect users and the service.
Retention and security
We retain payment and certificate records for accounting, verification, fraud prevention, and legal purposes. Temporary security cookies expire automatically. We use HTTPS, restricted database access, secret management, input validation, and other reasonable safeguards; however, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Subject to applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask for access, correction, erasure, consent withdrawal, or grievance redressal. Some payment, tax, fraud-prevention, or certificate-verification records may need to be retained where legally or operationally required.
Children
This service is intended for learners aged 15 or above. Learners under 18 should obtain parent or guardian consent before making a payment.
