Certificate fees are final
Once submitted, a certificate payment is non-refundable except for a confirmed duplicate charge, an amount collected above the displayed fee, or a payment successfully collected where Turnip is unable to provide the paid service for reasons solely within its control.
No refund without course completion
If a certificate is availed or payment is made without completing the applicable course, attendance, assessment, or other eligibility requirements, the payment will not be refunded. Payment does not replace or waive course-completion requirements.
Other non-refundable situations
No refund will be provided for:
- Change of mind after payment.
- An incorrect name, email, organisation, designation, phone number, or other detail submitted by the user.
- Use of an email that was not registered for the course.
- Failure to complete the course or assessment, insufficient attendance, failed assessment, or other ineligibility.
- A certificate already generated, emailed, downloaded, accessed, or otherwise availed.
- Certificate refusal or revocation arising from inaccurate information, impersonation, fraud, academic dishonesty, chargeback, or breach of the Terms.
- Bank, network, device, email, or other issues outside Turnip's reasonable control.
Duplicate or incorrect charges
If the same certificate fee is charged more than once because of a verified processing error, the duplicate amount will be returned. If the collected amount exceeds the displayed fee, the verified excess will be returned. Payment-provider and bank records will be used to investigate.
How to raise a request
Email courses@turnip.co.in within 7 days of payment with the subject “Certificate Payment Query”. Include your name, registered email, course name, payment ID, payment date, amount, and a description of the issue. Do not send card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, OTPs, or bank passwords.
Review and processing
We aim to acknowledge requests within 2 business days. If a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment method. Payment-provider and bank processing timelines apply and may take additional business days.
Chargebacks
Please contact Turnip before raising a chargeback so we can investigate the payment. Fraudulent or unsupported chargebacks may result in certificate withholding or revocation while the dispute is reviewed.
Contact and governing law
This policy is governed by Indian law, with disputes subject to the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.
